Let there be chairs!

After the recent discovery of hundreds of chairs stored under the stage, the volunteers did their best to get them out and available for the public to purchase. Contact - bill(at)leighproperties(dot)com if you are interested in purchasing these chairs. There are 5 varieties, as pictured below.

It continues! 10/17 work party.

Once again, we are so thankful for a great community coming together to make this theater happen.

Chair Excavation 2010, was a process of retrieving the many chair parts, discovered in the previous session, from beneath the stage. Local band 'Brother Elf' stopped by to test out the acoustics in the space.
And we had a great feast provided by local supporters. Thanks again to everyone.
NEXT SESSION - 11/7 noon to 5

It's a dirty job, but...

Sunday, October 3rd, We had the largest amount of volunteers thus far, 16 in total. Warren & Chelsea from Black Locust shared farming, brought black bean soup, cornbread and cupcakes to feed the tough crew. The objective of the day: carpet removal. Those may have been the original theater carpets considering the amount of dust that was kicked up. Great job crew!  This was a truly filthy job.
